And You And I Yes in NYC at MSG the last tour with Wakeman. The crowd did a long spontaneous standing ovation during the song, stopped the band. One of my top live music experiances.

Unfortunately, I missed the golden age of progressive, I started going to concerts in the 80's. I feel fortunate that I have seen most of my favorite bands (although not always as the original or "best" line-up.) I can say that NEARFest provided me with some amazing concert moments :
1. Echolyn - 2002 "Mei"
2. Miriodir - 2002 - This set did blow me away, fell in love with these guys based on that performance
3. Porcupine Tree - 2001 - Just the thrill of getting to see them live. Seeing the Fear of a Blank Planet Tour was amazing, they did blow me away on that show
4. Zappa Plays Zappa - Never saw Frank, but the first time I saw ZPZ I can say I was truly blown away
5. Happy The Man - NEARFest 2000 -
6. Camel - NEARFest 2003
7. Steven Wilson/Opeth - Last tour for "The Raven..." I was blown away
Songs I have seen that really have stuck with me:
Peter Gabriel - Lay Your Hands on Me - Indiana University - Security Tour
Peter Gabriel - Here Comes the Flood - Indiana University - Security Tour (just Gabriel and a piano because all their electronics had blown the fuses)
Yes - Gates of Delirium - Vancouver - Masterworks
Yes - And You + I - Kalamazoo - Union (Saw several shows on the Union tour and things were very hit or miss but on some nights like this it was transcendant)
Echolyn - Mei - Nearfest
Spock's Beard - The Great Nothing - Troubadour - V Tour
Yes - Perpetual Change - Indianapolis - In the Round
Cardiacs - Big Ship
Cardiacs - Tarred & feathered
Cardiacs - Is This The Life?
Cardiacs - Nurses Whispering Verses
Cardiacs - Dog Like Sparky
I have seen some of my favorite prog bands not in their prime but in recent years I at least I got to see Yes, Rush and Kansas my top three fave bands of all time and from all the performances that I've seen from them and another favorite prog bands over the years, gotta say that being able to see Kansas perform Lonely Wind live last September on their 40th anniversary show was a milestone in my life, I know is a ballad and not a proggy song, but I got goosebumps when I heard them perform it life after 30 some years without playing it live...
I live in an ephemeral eternity
