I try to get into these, but alas, never really make it all the way through.

A Meal....., Things May Come......, and Thousands On A Raft are all essential, imo, acknowledging that they're all patchy. Definitive late 60s/70s progressive musical eccentricity, a residue of psych but lurching toward ..... something else.

Personally, I prefer the two Battered Ornaments album, even if Brown got kicked out for their second album
AFA Piblokto is concerned, I tend to prefer their first one, because Raft has got too much lengths (feels too much like jams, if memory serves)

That Spitfire Head Woman should have been on Blind Faith as the lead off track replacing Had to cry today.
Yes, but would it have improved the LP? The song may have benefited from Jack's vocals but which song on Harmony Row would you discard?
Anyway I don't think Jack would do a cover of it, he wouldn't want to upset Pete!
