Lol. No, I can't make it to PD this year, sadly.
Funny you should mention, though. At PD one year .. '00 I think it was? I struck up a conversation with a guy near me, and he was from Milwaukee--I was living in West Allis at the time. Small world.
And it's weird how people who live close to each other can cross paths for the first time so far away. But it makes sense when I think about how specialized this whole "progressive rock community" thing is. There isn't really much around here to bring the community together, but 'fests hundreds/thousands of miles away do exactly that.
Though I know you're going to Crimson, so I hope to be able to finally introduce myself to you at that time.

At NEARfest Apocalypse I was staying at a hotel over the river. I had a rental car, and this guy asked me for a ride, which I gave him. After a couple minutes it turned out it was Anil Prasad! I was glad I didn't say "no."
Gerhard lives about 25 minutes down the road from me, but I think the only time I've seen him this year was the Transatlantic show at the Keswick. He picked up a Norman Granz box set for me on that trip that I still haven't gotten...and doesn't sound like he'll make it to ProgDay. Maybe I'll finally get it if I can make it to the Discipline/Echolyn Proghouse thing

Great. Mattias and David in a field full of beer. I'll be sure to bring my boots. :P

Does Necromonkey rhyme with necromancy?....and if so, please discuss any other commonalities.

That would be great news, if there's ever a vinyl version count me in. Does this mean the band is active again?
Getting back on topic, i am looking very forward to the appearance of Necromonkey at Progday, it seems like that #2 spot on Sunday usually has some of my favorite bands of the festival (Dr Nerve, Thank You Scientist come to mind), shall be great.
Both #2 spots (fhur fhur) at ProgDay this year look like potential highlights with Kotebel & Necromonkey.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Necromonkey rhymes with a lot of stuff. Superfunky, sexydonkey and leann rhimes for instance....and chad bring boots, bourbon and vague promises for the future of prog festivals. just to mess with people.

I recently had Jim Beam's Choice, a 5-year-aged bourbon which was really good. Kind of difficult to find it seems. Forget where I bought a bottle.
Bourbon... For something that won't be exported :
