    RIP Eli Wallach

One of my favorite character actors has died, aged 98. He should have won an Oscar for The Good, the Bad & The Ugly for his great performance as Tuco, The Ugly, a role I will never forget. He lived a good life, and I hope he's resting in peace.

A phenomenal actor imo. His work in The Good... and the Magnificent Seven was flawless (it ain't easy for a NY Jew to convincingly play a Mexican, but he did).

His late wife, Anne Jackson, was a superb actress in her own right.

RIP You deserved to live until 98.

Theres a cool '58 movie called The Lineup in which EW plays a deranged hitman. Good stuff. He was a versatile dynamic actor who had parts in many of the iconic movies of his time. The reel deal. RIP.
