What are the sites to go for other genres?

Progressive rock has the name to be well organized in light of presence on the internet, with this and other forums, sites as Progarchives, DPRP, Progstreaming and you nameit.
But I was wondering, suppose you're a fan of punk, or blues, or classical music, or jazz, or singersongwriter, or aor, or metal, or idm. Or country. Or alternative rock. Where do they go for an archive, some news, to chat with other fans?

So what are the likewise sites to other genres? Mention please not only the ones you like, but also the ones that seems to be the most popular. The places to be.

Very good forum with lots of knowledgeable people, including working musicians and composers.

I've discovered quite a few modern composers from members there.

Quite a few members are also fans of prog, jazz, fusion, etc. Most of the same things we talk about here.

I come to PE and start threads about whatever genre I feel like discussing.

That doesn't always end well though PE isn't nearly as provincial as it used to be.
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart
