I can’t really find the post but I sure I read about it here. The new Guranfoe - “Gumbo Gumbo” is just too good to not be mentioned again. If you haven’t heard it yet, give it a try.

^ I think it may be in a dedicated Guranfoe thread. Maybe for their previous album?

SOT is pretty great. I have their debut from 2011, Kind of Saltz, which also rocks. We need to hear the tuba get this kind of workout more often!

Hello! I sincerely recommend listening to this album by Compassionizer (Roz Vitalis offshoot). In contrast to the preceding one, "Narrow is the Road" is a sunny and lively record.

I wasn't sure where to post this, as it doesn't relate to a singular artist, but Cherry Red has a 10% off sale on their Box Sets for the month of November. While this may give the fondlers a sugar buzz to end all sugar buzzes, I thought people would want to know. There are 36 pages of Box Sets on offer, some of which are sold out, but most of which are available. I'm on their mailing list, so I thought I had an ear to the ground for these releases, but on going thru the pages, I found many cool sets with lots of bonus tracks that I had been unaware of. I ended up buying 9, and probably leaving 4 or 5 on the table for next time. The sale code is LOVEBOX10, which sounds like it was designed with Jed in mind, but if you order off the sale page, it calculates the discount automatically when you add the purchases to the cart.

It's worth your time to look through these. There are some outstanding sets on offer here.

    Phi Yaan-Zek - Interdimensional Garden Party (2022)

This artist is new to me. At times his guitar playing reminds me of Roine Stolt in his more fusion/Zappaesque moments. Melodic. Songs lean towards wacky too. I enjoyed it.

Well, I had hoped someone else might mention this, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen, so here goes…
In celebration of 25 years as a band, Farpoint has had 3 new releases this year.
First, a full new studio album, THE JOURNEY.

    https://kevinjarvis.bandcamp.com/album/the-journey

Second, an archival live release from 2008, LIVE UNDER THE AUTIMN SKY.

    https://kevinjarvis.bandcamp.com/alb...the-autumn-sky

Third, our first Christmas single, “Three Ships.”

    https://kevinjarvis.bandcamp.com/track/three-ships

All are also available at Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, etc. Hope a few of you find something to enjoy in there.

Andras Atlason - Atlantis. Don't know what to call it. Art-Rock I guess. It just sounds beautiful to me so I guess that's what it is.

The artist proposed the album for Eclectic when he submitted it to ProgArchives. We agreed and added as such. Make of that what you will. I do like it.
