Halfway through the first song, "Freak Show", I felt goosebumps wash over me for real. For me this hits all the right emotional and music spots. I've listened to all their records up to this point but I have to say they've put out their best record here. Just stunning.
The album description on the bandcamp page sounds appealing. I will definitely check it out when I get home. And, it might need to be stunning, for me to spend over $20 Canadian on a digital download. Yikes.

    I find it merely 'nice'.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

    wow! that's great news.

I hope the usual parties will carry it in the US.
    No humor please, we're skittish.

Never let good music get in the way of making a profit.

New release available on Bandcamp from The Kentish Spires:

They've been fairly under the radar around here, but I like them a lot.

Only one track available to preview, but pre-order is up now for what seems to be an elaborated Symphonic Rock album:

    https://charliecawood.bandcamp.com/

He also has an album out from 2017. Anyone familiar with this guy?

Hell yes, Charlie is great, he's the bassist in Knifeworld, his debut solo album was excellent.

Cool. I like Kentish Spires too, I'll definitely check this out.

I almost chimed in and said "I think Ian is familiar with him".

Haven't listened to his last album in a while, I need to go back and hear it again.

Checked them before, but thought they sounded a bit rough and bumpy and I didn't liked their vocals.

I gave them a chance again now, and although I didn't like the highlited track I left the Album running by accident
(was reading an article on another site). Now I have to say I got used to their style and what thought where their
weaknesses are really their strong sides.

Will buy this one most likley.

I think that's fair. It took me a little getting used to the first album, but once I did I found myself enjoying it. One problem on the first record is that I think the vocals were mixed just a bit too high, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of compression on anything, so "bumpy" is a good description of the sound. The flip side of that is that the band isn't afraid to rock out a bit, and here I think that roughness serves them well, for example on the track Introception from Last Harvest where they evoke Tull and some heavier moments of Gentle Giant.

I'm hoping the production is a little better on this new album, and I can totally understand hesitations about the band's sound. But Last Harvest was a grower for me, enough so that I'm definitely getting the new one. Happy to see you might be coming to the same conclusion.

Le Silo had the best audience interaction at RIO X. They included kids from their school music clinics in the band's last song. The parents were so proud they uncovered their ears for a short time!
