I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Those are the 2 I have too - I dont know. But getting Tosin Abasi aboard sounds intriguing!
On youtube there are some live shows, I would take it from there.

The third collaborative album this year from Angel Ontalva and the Vespero axis is out on CD and download:

    https://octoberxart.bandcamp.com/alb...al-cd-digifile

This time it's a live album featuring a group consisting of Ontalva, Vespero and Natasha Blinova of Priot Duo on piano and melodica. It's really pretty damn good.

I know of Sada, but what was the other one released this year?

I will probably get this one as long as it doesn't sell out in 10 minutes like the last live album.

Shaman Rock by Ontalva and Ark Fedotov, the Vespero synth man (download only). Hence my rather vague reference to the “Vespero axis” rather than just Vespero...

Kinetic Element LIVE FROM NEW YORK. A recording of the show from Oct. 14, 2019 at My Father's Place in Roslyn, NY (Long Island), the re-incarnation of Eppy Epstein's iconic venue which is now functioning in the Roslyn Hotel. The tracks came out great. This is 75 minutes of unadulterated, pretty damn good symphonic prog rock including a track mentioned above which has not been released on a studio album yet "Chasing The Lesser Light." watch the video of this song here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0O-wXpeCMM&t=308s You may purchase the CD here https://kineticelement.bandcamp.com/...OiA2dcmjKo7Yzo And if you buy the CD we will give you the link to the video download of the whole show at no charge.

The new Neptunian Maximalism album, Eons, on bandcamp is rather excellent, avant garde doom metal jazz.

Also a big fan of the Led Bib live at the Vortex album.

    Lazertüth - Leon (2020)

Band from Massachusetts that some of you might know - they were knew to me. One of those things that pops up in my Progarchives "new releases" feed I subscribe to. As usual, the Progarchives people have categorizations that I don't quite understand. This is considered Psychedelic/Space Rock by them but that's not what I hear. Maybe because it might be jam-like in its approach or have a garage esthetic. Whatever it is, it just sounded good to me. Very rocking. Good use of keys and Mellotron sounds. Nice melodies.

Regarding the above, I spoke a tiny bit too soon after hearing this one album. Just listened to their album Galaxies and it is Psychedelic of the old school variety. Plodding jamming with lots of reverb.

FNP played it a Friday or so ago, I found the dialogue parts cloying to put it mildly.
