To be released in November: ESP - "Invisible Din"

ESP is a project by producer/multi-instrumentalist Tony Lowe (produced the latest Robert Fripp/David Cross-album) and drummer Mark Brzezicki.
Important musicians on the album are David Jackson, David Cross, John Young, Steve Gee and Phil Spalding, while Lowe's writing-partner Alison Fleming performs the voice of the ghost.

I was just wondering about them. Spun their third album the other night. It's my lest favorite of the three, but I still like it. I'll definitely check out the new one.

Just remembered saw this on Steve's website and I hadn't heard any mention of it here...

Luz de Riada - Cuentos Y Fabulas Volume 3

    http://www.waysidemusic.com/music-pr...dr-spc-v3.aspx

I have Volumes 1 and 2. Volume 1 is totally awesome, very cool Jazz Rock/Fusion with some of the twists you get from Cabezas de Cera. Volume 2 is OK, but repeats a lot of material from Volume 1 with live tracks, which I found odd. I'd have preferred more new material. I'm still going to try this album hoping they get back to form on Volume 3.

wow... I like this new hyper-prolific M.O. they've adopted! Cant wait to get this new one... the last one was sheer Symphonic Rock perfection and a previous album of theirs was Jazz Rock excellence... I wonder which Prog style this one is...

Sea Nymphs? Looking forward to the other two. I really like the new Corima songs that I heard on bandcamp, and am hoping that with this new release Jack O The Clock will click with me.

    New Corima is pretty killer!

Only listened to it twice, but it seems like it will be worth many more. Track #8 seems to be a standout.

There are moments that are a bit more 'on the edge of control' than their previous release. Which is a good thing.

Too bad Andrea Calderón is moving out of LA . So the band's future is a bit up in the air at this point.

New Jack O the Clock, Corima, Seven Impale and Bob Drake for me.

Anticipating that Anakdota CD as well. And Suburban Savages (Panzerpappa offshoot) from here in Oslo. And Milli Vanilli.

New Dungen album Häxan out on November 18th. It's all instrumental, and based around the music they wrote as a soundtrack to the old animated film The Adventures Of Prince Achmed.

^That's pretty cool. Ejstes and Fiske have written some marvellous instrumental tunes in the past, so this could be promising. Their latest "regular" album, Allas Sak, is only a mer year old and was a very lowkey affair, IMO.

I really liked those two pieces. Are they primarily an instrumental band or is this just one isolated instrumental album in their catalog?

Just an isolated instrumental album. The other albums do have instrumental songs on them though, I think.
