    Just saw among the upcoming releases on RYM Metamorfosi's Purgatorio (17 October), completing their Dante trilogy. I had given up on this one to be honest: the second part, Paradiso, came out back in 2004. But then again: it took them more than 30 years between that one and Inferno, so I guess they're actually pretty fast this time round

    This one is rather good - Jump For Joy! - Bat Pullover
    The played RIO and put in a great performance

    Jump for Joy ! is powered by two drummers of totally different styles : Chris Cutler (UK) and Zappi (Austria)...teutonic tango vs butterfly lace; two guitar- and keyboard- ladies ,Geraldine Swayne (Ireland) and Yumi Hara (Japan), providing a dense field of sound textures and structures, both delicate and barbarous, while Geoff Leigh (UK, flute and sax and effects), and Jean-Herve Peron (France, bass guitar and cement-mixer) deliver the dada high- and low-ends

    http://www.rermegacorp.com/mm5/merch...&Store_Code=RM

    Yumi Hara - piano, synthesizer/voice;
    Chris Cutler - drums/percussion;
    Jean-Herve Peron - bass/cement mixer/found sound/trumpet/voice;
    Geoff Leigh - flute/sax/electronics/voice;
    Geraldine Swayne - organ/effects/voice/live painting;
    Zappi Diermaier - drums/percussion.

    Hell, if this thread only plugs along with a few posts a week, I'm not gonna fret about clogging it up with occasional requests that you guys check out my new stuff.

    This one is kinda loose, sloppy, and spooky. Fun!

    Let's check out another track. This one started as an improvised guitar soundscape that I really loved, so I wrote the grooving/droning bed underneath it.

    Thanks for sharing James, just took a little visit to your Soundcloud home. Got some fun stuff there. My fave: The Inheritance of Mason B. Ward.

    Thanks for listening. That one always makes me smile, the little recontextualisation of that old dictation record.

    if you're a fan of Glass Hammer, you probably already know guitarist David Wallimann. he released a fantastic instrumental album this year. Randy George is on bass and Nick D'Virgilio is behind the kit. there are some guest contributions including Fred, who is on the last track (Savior).

    Thanks. I'll be wanting this one! Bummed they had to pull out of Progtoberfest, but hopefully I'll get to see them live sometime.

    ^^^

    Regarding the Amoeba Split album, I got it and really like it a lot! Need to spin it again, I've been trying to digest the new KC live album and the new Seven Impale as well. All good stuff.

    I've listened to it a couple times on bandcamp...I don't enjoy it as much as the debut (perhaps the lesser canterburian flavor attributes to it) but not a bad album at all.

    Haven't been impressed with the Seven Impale album. Though both of KC's live albums this year have been outstanding.
