^ The Kavus EP is actually from 2018 - I think he just re-stocked the vinyl.

This is guitar-oriented instrumental music that at different points puts me in mind of Causa Sui, desert rock (taiga rock??), early Wishbone Ash, and more. But it also incorporates Finnish folk elements and has its own vibe going on. Quite tasty, really.
What the heck, I ordered all three. Thanks for two great recommendations.

I liked that Max Hunt more than I expected to. It may be on the list for next Bandcamp Friday.

I always post these here, and someone else creates a thread, so it'll probably happen again, but it's new, so the right place for me.
Been out for a while now, but a fantastic EP.

In fact there are so many other albums worth investigating that have been released on the same label.
This was very good, thank you for sharing it.

After getting Klava from the label a few years back (hope they release a 2nd album), I have been curious to explore the Eclipse label, but it seems rather daunting. Good to know there are some other albums on the label worth exploring.

"Mässan is the debut album from Swedish instrumentalists Kosmogon, a compelling duo featuring classically trained pianist Sophie Linder and musical collaborator Nicklas Barker, best known as composer, guitarist, Mellotronist, and singer in Swedish progressive rock band Anekdoten."

" ... redolent of early electronic pioneers Tangerine Dream and Ash Ra Tempel’s Manuel Göttsching. Two evocative pieces, Mässan (25.00) and Somnus (22.49), are spread across two vinyl sides incorporating grand themes, suited to the format."

"Release date: August 27th 2021 on Tonbad Grammofon, a new label dedicated to sounds from the outer limits. Available not only on vinyl and CD but also cassette."
    Pura Vida!.

This is so freaking good. At times Zappaesque and/or fusiony. I'm blown away by how much I love this.

No matter what anyone says, you are the decider of how you will listen to music.
