The live tracks look interesting, especially the two Cygnus X-I tracks.

Oh yes. Permanent Waves is a new release. I am so happy when we discuss about 2020 music.

    It's a rather good record.

A new release of an old album. I believe the live tracks are being released for the first time on CD/vinyl/download. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.)

Well hey, it is a good record (like you said), regardless of when it came out.

    Some cool new releases:

Germany's Coogans Bluff are back with a great, fun record of indie prog - I don't know how to really call it, but I suggest to people to listen to its entirety to form their own opinion (it's getting all the more better while one goes towards the end of it). https://coogansbluff.bandcamp.com/album/metronopolis

Acid Mothers Temple just released their 876th record - which features legendary Geoff Leigh from Henry Cow on flute and saxophone.
Very rewarding fusion/psych in the vein of Gong. Listen to it here:

    Of interest ...!...

Alturas by Makoto Kawabata, Richard Pinhas, Manongo Mujica, Juan Luis Pereira, Hiroshi Higashi.

"When Acid Mothers Temple and Richard Pinhas visited Lima for the first time, in November 2017, to participate in the experimental music festival "Integraciones", Luis Alvarado, the director of Buh Records and curator of the festival, summoned the Japanese and the French musicians to Manongo Mujica's studio and invited Juan Luis Pereira (El Polen) to join them for a recording session. The result was this album which finally comes to light, and where a variety of instruments and sensibilities are combined."

Mostly at home. Lurked from time to time, but I haven't felt like I had much to contribute lately. Although (thankfully) I'm getting back into music again.

This sounds fascinating. I've never delved into Acid Mothers Temple, but with the HCow connection it sounds like this might be as good a place as any to start.
