Duke Ellington.
Stomb are releasing new album Nihil today! can't wait...
Apologies if mentioned earlier, but the new Lapis Lazuli album (live improv opus featuring Damo Suzuki) is now out:

They’ve been one of my favourite British bands of the last decade, so I was in for this from day one.
Jonathan Hultén, known from his work with (thrash/death)metalbands like Tribulation, Stench, Hazard and Guerilla, will release his first solo-album Chants From Another Place in March.
He released a solo-EP in 2017, which gives a good indication of the semi-acoustic progfolk of the new album, as you can hear in the song Nightly Sun:
This is The Mountain from the new CD (the guitar sounds like Nick Drake's in my ears and no, this is not Art Garfunkel)
Interesting instrumental "Space Rock" (and lots of other directions) from Russia
Spanish band Frutería Toñi has a new album out: "El Porvenir Está en las Huevas":
The first single from the April 24th release, Oscillospira. The debut collaboration from JG Thirlwell & Simon Steensland. Pre-order the CD & Limited Edition 2LP at: https://smarturl.it/Oscillospira
2 tracks are up now from the 2020 re-mix of Rascal Reporters' "Ridin On A Bummer" (originally released in 1984)

Elements & Barrensphere (feat. Tim Hodgkinson of Henry Cow) are streaming now, the rest releasing March 6!
Doctor Nerve have a new EP out, LOUD, that is excellent.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Hello - Epic Tantrum is a new prog band from upstate NY. They have a brand new release called "Abandoned in the Strangers Room." It's a double-cd package. Disc one is studio, disc two is live.
Here are some reviews of their new album as well as links to places to hear the album and watch their new lyric video.

"A perfect blend of prog and metal" - Mike Portnoy
“Epic Tantrum is like the bastard children of Rush and Steely Dan. Powerful clever songs with twists and turns and musicianship to match. This band is something special.”
- Ioannis of DangerousAge Graphics who has designed covers for King Crimson, Dream Theater, Sepultura and many more
Review from Exclusive Magazine:
"The first disc opens with an achingly industrial curve before 'Don't Bother … ' reveals itself as a prog rock beauty, and that's backed by the gentle acoustic guitar work of 'Unfold,' the early Metallica feel of 'Accessory,' and then a rousing rock one-two on 'Fables Of Fortune' and 'Outside The Wire.'
The short, building piece 'Into The Clutch' enables you to catch your breath, before we're told not to take it personally from the start of the mid-tempo brilliance of 'Letting Go.'
A quite magnificent, soaring work is then brought forth in 'False Idols' which is backed by more proof that Epic Tantrum have the goods to succeed on 'A Howling' and then the pulsating rock prog blues of 'Abandoned.'"

New Jaga Jazzist album out April 24
^^Sounds fresh, although it appears to be a 4-track EP, not a complete new album.
Sweet.

Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

Awesome! And somehow I'd forgotten that Brainfeeder is Flying Lotus' label! How cool for Jaga Jazzist to be sharing that label now as well, as it seems like a perfect fit. FlyLo is IMO a true innovator in the "modern" music scene (whatever that means ). He's also got those familial ties to Alice Coltrane, so in a way I see it as him continuing that legacy.
I need to put on One Armed Bandit today. I've got the vinyl edition at home, so maybe this evening after work. I should also listen to Starfire again; that one didn't gel with me, but maybe another listen will help me to appreciate it more. These guys are one of my favorite modern groups, and a band I always get excited about.
Good.
An augmented instrumental (?) duo called Zopp, on Bad Elephant Records. Guests include Andy Tillison and Theo Travis. Only one track released so far, but it's a good 'un, and enough for me to pre-order the CD. Check 'em out:
https://zopp.bandcamp.com/
There's a teaser vid on YouTube that is nothing like the track on Bandcamp, but the blurb on YouTube certainly sounds promising, as the direction is supposed to be based on a Canterbury sound, and a lot of fine bands are name-checked as influences.
^ Sounds quite good.
