I had the same thought; only the cover looked a bit psychedelic, although Jade Warrior also came to mind.
I guess you've noticed you will be directed to Burning Shed if you want an unsigned physical CD from Guranfoe.

Oh wow, did not see that one coming. Really liked the first one. Very good retro prog. Judging from the notes on the BC page the Rational Diet connection is also still there.

Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

The first album has vocals, the new album hardly any. Dunno why, their singer has a fine voice.

Mother Turtle from Greece have just released their latest album Three Sides To Every Story in vinyl form, and CD also. This time they come back as a trio, with guitar-driven heavy prog-rock and some experimental, avant/noise inclinations. Side B contains a long composition which is very impressive (some Magma references there too). I like this album a lot, and mostly because it presents us with a band that never stops daring and exploring new sounds.

I just received Pampa Trash's new CD, Burzaco, from Amazon. It's very strange, it's not on their Bandcamp site, and I can't find it anywhere else. But I got it from Amazon, spun it tonight, and it is wonderful! For those who don't know the band, here's a link to a video of their first album. It has a heavy Argentine vibe, but plenty of Proggy Rock attitude. I love it, and the new one is just as good if not better!

Thanks for the tip about the CD -its not on Amazon.co.uk but it is on the .com site, but as you say they don't mention it on their own page. Very good band , but I don't find this one as good as the first. There's a new live video of them on youtube though and they've already added a couple of tunes not on either album.

Kenta Shimakawa - "Glimpse" (2019). I really like it:

Bandcamp page here. Contains lots of information about the musicians behind the album and also the making of it.

Here is a 14 minute track from Overworld Dream's new release, Gateway. Artwork by Ed Unitsky. The keyboard player played every instrument on the track.

Guillaume Perret finished the work on his new album, so hopefully it won't be long until it's out

Some good Retro Prog/Hardrock by a very mysterious band. no one knows who they are,
where they come from or where this was even recorded (not even their lable)
(not to be confused with the US band of the same Name)

Mythology - Castle of crossed Destinies

Mythology - Castle of crossed Destinies

    Food for music-detectives I guess:

January 3 street date. Nobody knows their real names hidden by pseudonyms / Nobody knows their origins / Nobody knows when this album has been recorded.Only two things are certain: First; this album is an incredible mixture of 70s Hard Rock, Progressive Rock with Jazzy touches and a mystic atmosphere. Second; name is MYTHOLOGY Cd Audio master came from Switzerland, canton of Friborg. We only know they are lovers of medieval history at a high level. One of them is of Italian origin who studied at the Friborg University long time ago, he had a great passion for literature and medieval history and he lead the band to the interpretation of “Il Castello dei Destini Incrociati” by Italo Calvino, a novel set in a magical forest with a castle where the traveler will find a surreal and enchanted place…and in this area there is the castle of Saint Germain where the Hans Rudi Giger museum is located… The band: Drums: CHAD SAMOTH Lead Vocal: ATHOS SADE Backing Vocal: LADY SIF Guitar: ATON DASHA Keyboards: DAN MOSES Bass Guitar: SANTO ASTEDA Sax/Mellotron: DANA SHETTOM
    (source: http://69.90.206.113/e/search.asp?s=...esc3=Mythology)

Chad Samoth looks like Chad Thomas, but that's a DJ
