My most recent program presented a problem: you can't chase everyone out of the room with John Oswald if you've already chased them away with Magma.

    Listen here: http://cod.ckcufm.com/programs/462/21777.html

My last two shows, both featuring synthesizer-based composers:

    My last two dumb shows:

    Battiato / Falsini / Stalteri: http://cod.ckcufm.com/programs/462/22371.html
Tim Brady / Jaga Jazzist: http://cod.ckcufm.com/programs/462/22561.html

Tune in, especially for Tim Brady... not well known but would appeal to avant/RIO-heads for sure.

Have not posted in a while but the show still exists. The one from this week was all-vinyl, features a few obscurities and the ever-excellent Michel Madore.

And an opener from North Sea Radio Orchestra, to not be TOTALLY stuck in the 70s and 80s .

This thing... maybe a few people will listen to it and discover something cool they didn't know about. At least when you listen it's more participatory than reading a thread full of names. And maybe there's more opportunity for interaction, because if someone wants to hear a particular thing they can ask for it to be included on a show.

Hugues: I'll be at 35%+ as required. This will be an average so individual shows may go under. I do want to avoid playing Maneige every second show or just being a whore for ProgQuebec, so I'm going to try and mix in a lot of styles and interesting music. I'll also probably be on a regular quest for Canadian music that fits into the experimental/electronic/avant/prog/psych buckets. I don't know how often I will be able to play anything Canadian that you like and haven't already heard, but I will give it a shot.
Over at my CFMU show, they don't bust my balls too much about Can-con, so I haven't had to worry too much. Ever since getting back on CFBU...well, let's just say they are much stricter. So every week when choosing music, I bow to my McFee statue for all of the ProgQuebec stuff you sent me. Much thanks bruthah! And it's cool to see you are back on the air.

Glad to be of service! I remember doing my first radio show in 2000-2001 before ProgQuebec (obviously)... it was a pain in the ass to source enough stuff. The station vinyl library was a big help.

Coincidentally my last show was entirely Canadian and fairly obscure... I think some folks might actually like it. You might want to grab some of this stuff for your show too:
