Never a Talking Heads fan, but love their version of Take Me To The River.
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
Ten Years After - I'd Love To Change the World
but it's the only TYA song I've heard. maybe I'd like more of their music if I checked it out. That happened recently with Uriah Heep.
I have all their stuff up to and including Gaucho. I always hate to say anything is 'perfect', but I think Aja is. I love every song on it. However, my favorite Dan albums are Katie Lied & Countdown to Ecstasy. I have Pretzel Logic only for Rikki and the title song. don't care for the rest of it.
^ yes, TRS is also killer. I give everything an A+ except 'Sign in Stranger' which gets an A or A-, depending on my mood.
Out of everything I have heard from Aerosmith, I think Dream On is the only song of theirs I can honestly say I like.
See how you like the piano version of it performed live by Patrick Leonard (Toy Matinee). Patrick has written/produced many songs with/for Madonna.
Is "Spanish Lullaby" in reference to the song, "La Isla Bonita" from her True Blue album?
Patrick Leonard also worked with Richard Page (Mr. Mister, Third Matinee) and Madonna on "I'll Remember", which was in the movie With Honors.
Here is Richard performing an acoustic version of it and briefly discussing the song:
Patrick Leonard did do a lot with Madonna:
Madonna (1985-1990, 1994, 1998, 2008)
Musical director – The Virgin Tour (1985); Who's That Girl World Tour (1987)
Writer and producer – from True Blue (1986): "Live to Tell" "La Isla Bonita", "Where's the Party", "White Heat", "Love Makes the World Go Round"; from Who's That Girl (1987): "Who's That Girl", "The Look of Love" (1987); from Like a Prayer (1989): "Like a Prayer", "Cherish", "Till Death Do Us Part", "Promise to Try", "Pray for Spanish Eyes", "Act of Contrition", "Dear Jessie", "Oh Father", "Supernatural"; from I'm Breathless (1990): "Hanky Panky", "Cry Baby", "He's a Man", "Now I'm Following You" and "Something to Remember" (which was also used as the title for the 1995 ballad compilation Something to Remember); from With Honors (1994): "I'll Remember"; from Ray of Light (1998): "Frozen", "Nothing Really Matters", "Has to Be", "Sky Fits Heaven", "Skin"
Producer – "To Have and Not to Hold" (1998) "The Power of Good-Bye" (1998), "I'm Going Bananas" (1990) and "Open Your Heart" (1986).
Music score – I Am Because We Are (2008) - Leonard scored the music for the documentary which was written, narrated and produced by Madonna.

Hell, they ain't even old-timey ! - Homer Stokes
mmmhhhh!!! the debut sounds very 60's-ish.... Try Cricklewood Green instead... or even the abum on which stands 'I'd Love To Change"... A Space In Time (or its follow-up RnR Music To The World) are also excellent.
Actually, I woudn't... and Watt either.. Though both are still good albums, they're the weaker links in their middle discography... too blues-boogie-rock to show the band's entire musical spectrum, IMHO

I just heard another example - "Breaking the Girl" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I really like this song, but I can't stomach most of their output.
America 'Horse with No Name"
Radiohead "Creep" (have heard very little else tho)
Smash Mouth 'Walkin On the Sun"
