Transatlantic - We All Need Some Light - Neal lead vocals version on the album and Roine lead vocals version on special edition CD
I wonder if Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells vs re-recorded Tubular Bells 2003 qualifies as well.

Innocence and undying love will reign." - Transatlantic

John Martyn rerecorded many of his classics on No Little Boy (1993) - an album that was first released in 1992 as Couldn’t Love You More, of which he disapproved and disowned; there's a double-disc set of both versions so you can compare & contrast, but No Little Boy is the gold: really nice reworks of classics like "Solid Air," "Couldn't Love You More," "Man in the Station" and others.
