Anyone happen to have one of these lying around? Someone on eBay is selling theirs:
    $12,000.00
    or Best Offer

Yea - that's a bit optimistic. But there is precedent of the UK Kingdom copy selling for over $5K. There's also a French press on Vogue and a Dutch press on Pink Elephant (same art but with a gold cover instead of green) that typically sell in the $500-$700 range. I'll have to settle for my (dubious) Akarma CD I'm afraid....

It's a pretty rekkid. He can keep it.
Hired on to work for Mr. Bill Cox, a-fixin' lawn mowers and what-not, since 1964.

CD reissue is my hands today for $13.23. I figure I saved $11,986.77. Is it a major find? Hardly. But it completes my Khan collection

Question to you vinyl collectors: typically does a rare LP go up or down in value if a CD reissue comes out?

It becomes less rare, so that would suggest a lower price. OTOH a CD issue might generate new interest among vinyl owners...

Answer: Both, or "It depends." If it's a rare, relatively unknown item, it will usually drive the price up.

    Howdy folks,

Looks like Belle Antique has an issue coming out: https://www.discogs.com/Nicholas-Gre...lease/13006993

My understanding is that there have been no legit CD issues to date (including the Akarma)... anyone know better? Anyone got the scoop on this new one?

    Regards,
    Sean

That's my understanding too, Sean. Here is what I stated on the CDRWL: "Belle Antique of Japan will be reissuing this on CD. Though there have been numerous reissues in the past, most cross the threshold to the murky waters of unofficial (lack of corroborating copyrights, participation of the band or label, etc...). Belle Antique is above board, and often takes advantage of the local Japanese copyrights of major labels. Whether it's from master tapes remains to be seen however."
