This doesn't have Dave Stewart - it's Tim Hodgkinson on organ.
Stewart was a guest on the same session, but playing a little bit of celeste at one point in "Teenbeat", where his spoken voice is also heard.

Great track nonetheless, and Egg indeed WERE the closest contender to the "maximal intricacy" prize in British progressive rock. Of course, Stewart had already played with Cutler in The Ottawa Company - am I right?
There are just SO many Cow threads these days...
"Improvisation is not an excuse for musical laziness" - Fred Frith
"[...] things that we never dreamed of doing in Crimson or in any band that I've been in," - Tony Levin speaking of SGM
Exactly - and this session happened right around the time when the Company performed a series of 3 concerts after the whole of Henry Cow had joined it (the company was formed by Stewart and Cutler prior to Cutler joining Henry Cow, so the Cows were not part of the initial concert in September 1971).
There was also an Egg Peel session around this time (Feb/March 1972) that had a nod to the Ottawa repertoire (the medley that includes "There's No Business Like Showbusiness").
