Which version comes with bonus BBQ?
Great news as I really enjoyed the CTTE remake. However, these albums are such treasured prog masterpieces that they deserve the Pink Floyd-style Immersion treatment. Where's the big box set for these albums that contains the works?
I like these because Wilson does a tasteful remaster plus you get the nice flat transfer of the original mix.
I don't know but it seems like a new TYA made of live material, single edits and bits and pieces is kind of a travesty. As for the other material, I've never heard a better version of TYA on cd than on vinyl and I'm not hopeful that it will ever happen.
Really? My vinyl copy of it sounded like shit. It was played to death on a multitude of turntables of varying qualities over the years and popped and crackled like a bastard. I still half expect it to skip a few grooves every time I hear the acoustic guitar section of Yours is No Disgrace. Personally I'm happy to have my cd copy, which sounds as good as the day I bought it.
Sorry, not picking on you, but these comments that are becoming more and more frequent implying the only "real" way to hear any given album is via the holy medium of vinyl and anything else is akin to pouring acid into your ears are really starting to piss me off.
Apologies for the rant. Carry on...
