This one sounds great; I've been waiting for ages for Ketil to get his prog shit together. Ahem.

    Anticipating!

Ketil has also started working on his solo album...Its a five track affair 50 minutes. I started drumming on it last week and will continue today. It is progressive rock with a tinge of Flaming Lips....if they were norwegian that is.

    Hey hey,

Heres a little Q & A film we made about the album and the recording.

To say that I am looking forward to hearing the album is a big understatement. Bring on May 5 :-)

No brainer of the year. Will get it as soon as the usual suspects (Laser Edge & Wayside) will carry it.

Any time any one speaks to me about any musical project, the one absolute given is "it will not make big money". [tip of the hat to HK]

please add 'imo' wherever you like, to avoid offending those easily offended.

You will not be disappointed. Just had my first play of the album which arrived in the mail this morning and for the first few minutes I was not able really to put into words what I had just heard. This is in a strange way everything I had hoped this album would be but on the other hand it is totally not what I had expected.

Ordered this on impulse from burning shed. I will be honest........I am not even sure who the band are or personnel involved. But the CD turned up last weekend and wow what a listen.

I picked up the digital version from Amazon, only 1 listen, and it is excellent!

Another bump for this debut release.
    Fine music and vocals.
It's sure to rank high at the end of 2014's retrospectives.

    Hey hey,

I hope that everything is well with all of you.

Just wanted to drop in and share a second single from the album.

    In the stillness of time.

    Take care,

    // Mattias

I've been revisiting this album a lot the past couple of days. I was quite taken with it when it was released but it became lost in the ocean of new music that I listen to. There is a lot of beauty and a wealth of ideas that continue to reveal themselves after multiple spins. I hope there is a possibility of a second album someday.

Two questions for Mattias if he shows his face:

    1) Doesn't look like it, but was there ever a follow-up to the first Kaukasus album, or might there be one?

    2) I just noticed that something you played on, a song by Akaba, was mixed by Giles Martin! Did you meet Giles Martin? If so, what was that like?

Sorry, that's sort of more than two questions!

There's also this Q&A they did:

Wait, Pre-Ordered what? From where? I think they just have the one album, and the single.

First Kaukasus album was great. New one would be very welcome.
