    How do we delete posts?

Haven't seen where we can do this yet.

Go into edit the post and it gives you a delete option.

I think there's a time limit om how long you can edit.

I actually don't even see where I can edit the above post. It's from three hours ago.

Wait, now I do with this new post - Hey mods, what's the cutoff for how long we can edit and delete posts? The cutoff for deleting them seems to be just a few seconds! What if we want to delete a thread we started?

Oh, maybe I have to "Go Advanced."

So, if you start a thread and then delete it, does the thread title remain, or does it get listed as "thread deleted" on the forum page?

I believe that you have an hour to edit/delete your post.

I don't think you can delete threads - only mods can do that, thank God.

You CAN delete your post - you just have to do it within an hour of posting.

We changed that timeout. It was 15 minutes, then an hour, now (because they insist on a number of minutes) it's a year. Had to figure out how many minutes in a year

That's right. You can delete posts, but not threads.
