It is legitimate and will be sold through Magma's site. (Per the avant progressive Facebook page)
Check out Colouratura's sophomore release Unfamiliar Skies - out this spring on Melodic Revolution Records!

Yes, I asked that very question on the FB page. It's a legit recording, but on MIG records, and will be sold by Seventh, MIG, Wayside and a few other locations. Autobuy for me, natch.

Made in Germany is a real, legit label, IIRC, it's owned by the former owner of SPV/Inside Out.

    so...very legit.

    In Radio Bremen's vault.

I tried to license it for Cuneiform well over a decade ago, and was told 'no' by the band.

Thank you for the correction about the lable, didn't see that.

MIG is indeed owned by Manfred Schtz one of the two founders of SPV.
This lable also features a number of artists with some relevance for this site.

    Legit without the slightest doubt.

I might have to buy it.
    No humor please, we're skittish.

Huh. Steve, I wonder what led them to release it now? The availability of it on the net? I wonder....

I just discover that I have it as a boot probably the last 15 years (I have too much music).
I welcome a release with a better sound, allthough these 2-3 generation casette tape sound has a certain mysterious charm.
1974 was a good year for Magma.

This is my fav boot by far, although I haven't heard many!!! I'm pretty excited! The 2 versions of KMX especially are out of this universe; Jannick Top is unbelievable, his lurching monster bass just lays waste to everything. Too cool.

    Same year:
MAGMA Concert CHAUMONT (52) en 1974 1 hour, 25 minutes.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6iyZiwwhhY
Shitty sound, but its Vander & Top, and every Magma concert those days were different
Brian Godding should be the guitarist here.

It's only a small part of ER...basically the section that comes before Hhai and after Rinde on the ER album. Does sound great though...

    I have no idea !
But since the musicians are listed as a.o.-, Top, GAUTHIER, piano, synthtiseur, GRAILLIER, piano,WIDEMANN, synthtiseur, I suppose so. None of theses were on Attahk the year after.
