I wonder if it's because they are really satisfied with their live performances or because Mattias (who doesn't like live releases per se) is no longer in the band that they release this.

Nice video to get a sense of it... I'm gonna get this. Sounds really good.
And it's on Progstreaming Classic!

Been listening on progstreaming, sounds really good. Great performance. Even with all the lineup changes the quality level has not changed.
Had it a few weeks. Excellent live recording. Worth it just for the unreleased Introvertus Fugu part 1

I didn't want Scissor to to feel I was picking on him, so I'll pose this question to you as well.
Just wondering, is it because you don't like getting live albums, or you don't care for Anglagard? If it's the former, I understand. If it's the latter, was it important enough to let us know here?
I have a boot of their 2003 Nearfest show which was given to me, and I quite enjoy for sentimental reasons. But having a proper live recording like this that the band gets paid for, I definitely have to buy this.
No, it's because of you - personally. Everything comes down to you, you see. It's all about you - just you. I mean, could there possibly be any other reason than the two you managed to come up with? If it even was meant seriously, could there - imaginably - be anything else than those two explanations?
I mean, it isn't as if you "[...] couldn't care less about Thinking Plague" although you're actually commenting on one of their guitarist's posts - is it?
SFI.

Personally, I think the new live record really improves upon many of the issues I have with *most* live albums. I hate to shamelessly self promote, but I'd be repeating what I said here to elaborate too much:

So, care to actually answer the question, or just be an ass as usual? It seems odd to join a thread announcing a release if all you have to offer is the fact you wont be buying it, and of course not give a reason. But you live for giving rude answers, so I shouldn't expect much.
Huh? I think I remember this statement where someone listed a few bands that I like, with TP being one of the exceptions. I guess if I knew the thread I was posting in was from a member of TP (what is their screen name?), I would have worded this a little different. But I'm not sure what is so hurtful about this statement. I've made it known I'm no fan of their music, but that I do respect the musicianship present in the band. But yeah, I could care less about their music because it's not appealing to me.
Loving this album. I like the subtle changes in "Jordrök" (and the not-so-subtle ones, like that massive church organ section replaced by quiet mellotron flutes), and I'll always take any chance to listen to "Sista Somrar"! Great pair of discs.
