These new BLUE NILE remasters are great!!!

I received yesterday the 2012 collectors editions of Hats and A Walk Across the Rooftops and just can't stop listening to them. Both are remastered and housed in a 2-CD digipack package. The extra CDs feature alternative versions of the songs together with some previously unreleased tracks too. Both on Virgin Records.

The remaster work was very well done on these beauties IMHO, and the extra discs are simply awesome. Definitely a must have for any Blue Nile fan.

I had looked with interest at these but the sound on the originals was always superb and to be honest the bonus tracks seem really light-on.
