Music isn't about chops, or even about talent - it's about sound and the way that sound communicates to people. Mike Keneally
Good point, but there certainly didn't sound like that much concern. I'm 50 now, first time for this. I do have some problems with the GI though. I have some scarring from acid reflux. Given that the prep is the same for both procedures, I opted to do both at once since you have to arrange a driver. They actually walk (or wheelchair) you down to your ride to make sure you're not trying to pull a fast one. And the anesthesia was not an option, at least not at Johns Hopkins.
...and good song. Next time I play it (on piano) it's going to be tough to disconnect this association!
The wife has to go next. She's so not looking forward to that. Unfortunately I think she's much more of a concern.

Well, I had my first at age 50 and they told me to come back in ten years. So, they must have had a reason to say five, unless that's their standard protocol. Better safe than sorry, bro. Think about if they find something treatable in five years. That minor inconvenience would certainly have been worth it. Especially for your family. You should have at least another 30 years on this planet.
Once the prep is "behind" you, it's only a memory.

Yeah, wise words. Thanks guys. Just wish there was another way! Gotta keep the Prog "movement" in motion!

End of thread!
Oh shit, literally! My ten year is coming up (no pun!) soon. Guess I'll make light of it and throw on the old turntable the paper 45 rpm record insert from a mid-sixties Mad Magazine of Alfred E Newman vocalizing on "It's A Gas!"

A simple peace
Just can't be found

Blasting all their lives away
I've heard the thunder

Tunneling away

Nostalgia, you know, ain't what it used to be. Furthermore, they tells me, it never was.
