Chevere is a 9 piece, (mostly) original material latin jazz/rock band that I've been in for over 30 years. Our MVP is Howard Levy (Bela Fleck and the Flecktones), but we're all pretty good.We'll be at The Green Mill in Chicago (4802 N Broadway St.) on March 14th and 15th (9PM - 1AM on the 14th and 8PM - midnight on the 15th). That's anybody's guess, Ed. Right now, it's just a twinkle in our eyes. We have enough material for another one, but for starters, we have to settle the debate over whether it should be recorded live or in the studio. Personally, I think it should be half and half.

Thanks, Steve; I like that modern version better! Being at the age where bones start becoming brittle, I run the risk of taking the old version literally.
Sorry you and Kay can't make it. Unlike the cover band you saw me with at Ravinia, I get to PLAY with Chevere. Oh well, another time!

Well, I don't have any sort of recording equipment, not even a recording Walkman. And I've never even looked at the Dime website. Maybe somebody has something to record with; I'll ask. Also, I'd have to see how everybody feels about uploading our gig(s) on the Web. So no promises, but I'll look into it.
