I have always loved this series but these 3 new episodes were totally disappointing

I thought 'Smithereens' was excellent.
I felt there was too much gratuitous sex in 'Striking Vipers' although, without spoiling for those who did not watch it, the episode did hinge on issues of sex/sexuality. Maybe I'm just an old-fashioned fuddy-duddy.
Haven't watched Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too yet. Holding off because of the 'star', but I hope to be proven wrong when I inevitably watch it.
Striking Vipers is the one I haven't watched yet. Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too was okay, Miley was fine (I have no problem with her, apart from hating her style of music, she does a fine job acting-wise though), but it got really silly in the second half, and really isn't up to the Black Mirror standard IMO. But worth a watch once. Smithereens, as mentioned, was very good, my wife and I both enjoyed that a lot.

Miley Cyrus was ok. She was after all an actress before the solo singing career. She seems to be taking a swipe at her Hanna Montana days. I don't care for her music either and even her speaking voice grates on me. The show didn't play out or end in the tradition of Black Mirror so I too found it a tad underwhelming. C+
I thought the Ashley... one was lame just didn't really interest me.
Smithereens held my interest but overall wasn't great.
I thought Striking Vipers was the best. It was a bit more similar to the earlier episodes than the other two were. The cast was also more interesting.
My son described the show as something like a declining series, and I think he's right.

^yep. None of the stories stick with you after they're over the way the earlier episodes did.
I beg to differ. If Smithereens didn’t haunt you after it was over, then you may just be dead inside.
Yes, that was more in the vein of older episodes but one that I could see the ending coming from a mile away
