OK, I just looked it up
RYM lists him anyway

And Jon Fox explains in his review:
========The long recording process for Night in the Ruts, which was handled by producer Gary Lyons, marked the end of the line for Joe Perry, as the moody guitarist spilt during the studio sessions to form the Joe Perry Project. Jimmy Crespo joined the band just before the mixing of NITR, and laid down the solo for "Three Mile Smile", while Richie Supa added guitar licks once Perry bolted for his solo flight. Crespo spent a few years with the band, when things were at their lowest. The under-rated ex-Flame guitarist deserves major props for dealing with all the distractions that went down in the early '80s, while very little recording and touring was undertaken.
as for session musicians, , obviously the sax and brass (Brecker even played on GYW), the odd banjo, keyboards (some played by Tyler, but hardly all), etc. were not handled by the band..
Still accordibng to RYM (expand the credits at the bottom of the window), there were a shitload of guests on NITR...
