NJ Proghouse Homecoming 2014 (echolyn, Discipline, more) on Oct. 11-12

    Greetings,

It is my great pleasure to announce that the second annual NJ Proghouse Homecoming Weekend festival is officially up and running, with tickets already on sale. The event will take place at Roxy & Dukes Roadhouse (Dunellen, NJ) on the weekend of October 11th and 12th, featuring eight bands along with one special addition. The bands we have confirmed thus far (in alphabetical order):

    Discipline – http://www.strungoutrecords.com/
    *echolyn – http://www.echolyn.com/
MVP (Meridian Voice Project) – http://www.reverbnation.com/meridianvoice
Out of the Beardspace – http://www.beardspace.com/
    Pinnacle – http://www.pinnacleband.com/
    Schooltree – http://www.schooltreemusic.com/

*We're told this will be echolyn's special live debut for the year, in support of new material that includes an album the band is currently recording.

Tickets can be ordered directly from:

    http://www.njproghouse.com/shop/njpr...ber-1112-2014/

We hope to have the remaining two acts confirmed shortly, as well as the details around our special addition. Based on the success of last year's inaugural event, as well as the fantastic lineup that has already been confirmed, we think tickets will go quickly. Thanks and very much hope to see you there!

    Cheers,

    Alan

A super-sweet line-up already. I'm very excited that we can attend as it takes place on the weekend of fall break. Thanks for scheduling around my semester.

    Hi again,

FYI, here's a clip I just posted from Merdian Voice's fantastic NJ Proghouse performance last year:

These guys absolutely smoked and we're extremely happy to have them come back as part of this year's festival (under their new "MVP" moniker).

    Cheers,

Is there a recommended hotel for this?

I've been wanting to see Pinnacle on stage for some time now. Midnight at the last NEARFest was too late for this old man, but noon will be just perfect!

Hey Ian: Amy's working on that now. Once we've got it nailed down (hopefully with a special rate), the info will be added to the event page. Hopefully you should see this update take place within the next week or two.

    Thanks and take care,

    Alan

Wow, thank you - I'm so touched to read this! And I assure you, we're preparing something really special to open this intimate festival with. We're very honored to be among this lineup.

This most definitely qualifies as a "damnit, why don't I live closer" festival!

Best of luck for a very successful festival, you guys.

Wait, Discipline, featuring Matthew Parmenter, the Magic Acid Mime?

LOL! I was just looking at Matthew's FB page and was reminded that that's how he's sometimes billed.
