Locanda delle Fate - Live in Bloom

Did a hey Colorado and had my first viewing of this last night

    Holy fuck, is this good

These fuckers look as old as the dude on the Moretti beer label but man they still have chops out the ass, and snicker at any other acts who might drop a key these days when playing live because they can't quite hit their old stride

None of that going down here

Sasso is wonderful, his voice is just as powerful as ever

Forse is perhaps my favorite CD that doesn't feature Yes or Genesis on the spine, these versions did it complete justice

The is a CD / DVD set that was formerly only available on LP

Back when "Farfest" was still a possibility but in limbo, I attempted to save the day for y'all by hiring these guys to do a private show in my buds backyard to help with the needed finances

Dudes got a legit mansion, would have been a surreal pool party

Going to bring this to his crib on Sunday, we'll cry in our wine about what might have been.....

I own both the LP and the CD/DVD set.

The CD/DVD sounds a bit better and has the complete set.

Very good stuff, only complaint I have is that the Alphataurus live recording from the same evening has a much (much) better sound.

I just downloaded the MP-3's of the Garybaldi performance from that night from Amazon, and that one sounds better as well!

Alphataurus, Garybaldi, LDF on the same bill?

Looks like a very intimate setting - that evening must have been an all-timer

We went to Amsterdam with our at the time 5 yr old son 10 yrs ago and had a great time. And very little MJ was involved. How would Denver stack up as a place to visit? Or another city in CO? Of course, not having a bar where wacky baccy is allowed AND they play mostly Zappa may be a drawback. The hotels in CO must have a shortage of SMOKING ROOMS.
