I just went with my top 10 on Gnosis, minus the two floyd, since I overheard them

    Circus - Movin' On
    A Love Supreme
Si on Avait Besoin d'une Cinquieme Saison
    Thick as a Brick
Nucleus - We'll Talk About It Later
Out of Focus - Out of Focus
    Caravanserai
Michael Garrick - The Heart Is A Lotus
    Graham Collier - Darius
    Schulze, Klaus - Timewind
The Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus
    Crime of the Century
    McCoy Tyner - Sahara
Mingus - Black Saint and Lady Sinner

voilà!!! I'll tell whatever deity announcing me my end to f... off and play all 15 before exiting

I had a stroke in June & looked death in the face several times over the years. If I get to hear great music first, I'm OK with that.

Boy, this is tough! I'll answer your first question and stick to bands (that actually makes it a little easier). So, in no particular order:

    1. Anglagard
    2. The Flower Kings
    3. Spock's Beard or Neal Morse
    4. Dream Theater
    5. Yes
    6. Gentle Giant
    7. The Enid
    8. Transatlantic
    9. Karmakanic
    10. Moon Safari

    * I suspect my list would look different should I attempt this again tomorrow, or the next day, or the day after....

Someone else beat me to it, but I'd find the 10 longest albums ever released. Who cares what they are, I'd turn the volume down and try to live out the rest of my life for as long as it lasted!

Ok, here's my real answer (not necessarily in this order)
    1. Zappa - One Size Fits All (couldn't live without hearing the Inca Roads guitar solo one more time)
    2. Camel - Snow Goose
    3. Renaissance - Live at Carnegie Hall
    4. Genesis - Lamb
    5. Yes - Tales
    6. Magenta - Home
    7. Phideaux - Doomsday Afternoon (pretty appropriate for the topic)
    8. VdGG - Pawn Hearts
    9. Holst - the Planets
    10. Ambrosia - s/t

If music be the spice of life... play on.
Play it loud... play it all, and play it now, for tomorrow may be too late.
