Genesis - Trespass Dropout (The Knife)

Just was listening to The Knife on the (Virgin/Charisma) label and right at end of Mayhews drum run; which ends the song, drops out for about 1.5 to 2 secs....
    Anyone else notice this....

I would have to pull out to see which version/release that I have and see which one I have to take a listen....

You could always buy one of the other versions.

But then, instead of a 2 second problem, you'd have a 40 minute problem.

I don't remember this dropout but I wouldn't doubt it's just there. Still, that old cropped cover version is the best version on CD by miles, IMO.

Isn't there about 10-20 seconds of cacophony at the end of that song? Seems like it might intentionally be part of that craziness.

According to many, the version you have is the preferred version of Trespass on CD.

That said, I haven't listened to that version of "The Knife," so I can't offer an opinion on the dropout instance itself.
