It's always nice to see Roger on the record, but:
Stephen Sackur claims The Wall is a classic. Really? I thought it was "patchy" and "long-winded".
"Was it drugs that destroyed Syd Barrett?" Hard to believe someone today thinks that's a relevant question.
And I have to differ with Roger on the relative merits of Amused to Death.
Anyway, not a horrible interview but about on par with what I'd expect from an American journalist.
I'm holding out for the Wilson-mixed 5.1 super-duper walletbuster special anniversary extra adjectives edition.
Did anyone manage to catch this? Re-aired last weekend
-=Will you stand by me against the cold night, or are you afraid of the ice?=-
Waters cried. He has a reason for his emotions but I thought I'd never see the day when he cried.

Ironic that they are drinking wine out of crystal glasses and frying top notch seafood and feeling for the poor kid in Mississippi that is on food stamps. That being said, I'm glad there is a RW and appreciate his views.
Thanks a lot for posting that, Casey. It was a pretty riveting exchange, really. The interviewer WAS a bit of a jerk, but he got some interesting thoughts out of Roger, and I guess that was his goal, so well done I suppose. And he was the one sweating, not Rog!
Couldn't miss that sheen of perspiration, eh?
I was a bit distracted by how little eye contact he made with RW.

And when is the new vinyl edition of Amused, coming out? Abit overdue isn"t it?
The older I get, the better I was.
