What is this concept of a god of which you speak?
Mel Collins blows!
Mel Collins ruined Bad Company and King Crimson.
I allways thought there was way too much saxophone on the early Genesis records and never liked their jazzy sound. Now I know who's responsible of this and It's good to know he has been fired. I sincerely hope Mel wil be not take part in the next Genesis reunion tour. I heard he also can play flute quite well, thus he might be a good replacement for Ian Anderson in the next Jethro Tull reincarnation. But no more saxophone in Genesis, PLEASE !!!
Mel Collins was responsible for Lino leaving PE

Actually, I quite like Phil.
Purists sniff that he ruined Genesis, but he has a good voice, and the compositions were OK. Genesis simply evolved. It had to. Just as Rabin didn't really ruin Yes. They just evolved.
(Talk about a hornet's nest.)
