Hi Chip, nice to see you here. This is actually PE3, the former site was PE2, and the first site was the old newsgroup, I think. I didn't discover Prog Ears until 2003, so I missed out on all the emotional bonding, LOL!

Anyway, you're going to learn a lot here about Progressive music. It's a great place to get an education!

Hoping to see you again at RoSFest!

Hm. I see that PE has gotten lax in screening their new members. Oh Sean? Duncan? Watch this guy.

I am Wolfhound, hear me howl! New to this site, but not new to music or progressive music and all it's related sub genres. I dabbled in prog rock as a young kid and teenager listening to the mainstream stuff like Pink Floyd and Rush. It's only in the last couple years as an adult in my mid 30's that I started getting really heavy into prog and I am so glad. The prog world has infintessimally better music than the mainstream pop/rock/rap/country of today...AND THERE IS SO MUCH OF IT!!! It's almost overwhelming!

Markowitz is an alias I used since childhood to cover my tracks. Full alias was Steve Markowitz who had a glass eye caused by car accident that threw me out of my purple cadillac with white velvet interior onto the road eye first. Love all kinds of music but especially Nektar, Camel, Genesis, and Young Yes. Hobbyist musician. Have learned a lot here. Real name is Mike. Living in Santa Cruz area. Peace.

Santa Cruz is a gorgeous place to live, even with one eye.

Was your Cadillac a convertible? If I lived in a nice climate, I'd have a convertible!

For some reason this thread is reminding me of Firesign Theater:

    Hi Hunnibee,

It was not, but you are right, the convertible is a great beach transportation option. Enjoy all your posts, you are a postive person, indeed.

You mean they don't give you a new identity every few years in civilized countries, Kim?

    I am ItalProgRules

Not to be confused with ItalProgFan.

I mean, I AM a fan, just not THE ItalProgFan.

He seems like a very nice guy but he's not me.

But he probably thinks Italian Prog rules even though I'm Rules and he's Fan.

    I'm confused now...

    I think.

Mozo-pg, not the most compulsive poster on PE (you know who you are) but I'm on my 10th year of regular posting on PE. Still enjoying the ride.

Does anybody know if Ed from Pittsburgh (e3Prog on version2) migrated to v3 & if so, what his screen name is?

He's a technician with the touring company of "Wicked" and they were here 2 years ago and are coming back next week. We had fun hanging out in '11 so I'd like to get a hold of him. I tried the member list but didn't find him.
