Yeah, this is a joint Alter-Ego event (in Soignies) and PR Convention (held previously in Verviers's Spirit of 66) thing... both broke down last year and had to cancel (like the other two organizations did too)...

There will be space for conferences (I could be up for it, though I'd have to translate my Caravan Convention in Holland essay in French) and even maybe for CD trades... And of course real homemade foods like quiches, soups, local beers & cheeses...

Shouldn't Il Castello di Atlante be added to Quebec City Prog Festival?

This makes me think of that meme with the lady who wants all the cats.... I feel if I watch this thread much longer I'll be the crazy, crying progfest lady. I want them ALLLLLLLLLLL! ALL those progfestivals who need attendees WAHHHHHH.

The downside of being better than everyone else is that people tend to assume you're pretentious.

Oh god, I feel the same! Mostly I want to do Baja and RosFest, but Celbr8.2 sounds awesome, too. I also think I'm way overdue for my first Prog Day. When do we retire, Krys?!!!

I'd better get my ticket quick... coz if they're going to come from akll over the planet, there won't be much ticket left

And they've promised some cool food and drinks (Belgian beers) as well - except in one occasion, they've always delivered...

    I don't think so, Kevin.

Pain Of Salvation is often mistakenly labeled as "metal" - but IMO, they're vaguely metallic at best. The music is far too light for metal, and the 3 or so recent albums have far too many complexities to allow for easy pigeon-holing.

So don't ask me to categorize them, but IMO, it ain't metal...

Yorkshire Prog has been on my calendar for awhile!

As for RosFest, Krista announced Pain of Salvation on Facebook on Christmas Eve. Maybe George hasn't had time to update the website because of the holidays.
