This evening we went to see Live From Here at Wolf Trap. You can listen here at The show is online.
    What a great show.
Not Punch Brothers, more like Chris Thile Presents.
They had Adia Victoria as a guest. Very hot band. Sort of Norah Jones-ish with electronica/noise and a rockish rhythm section with twin saxes.
And Guster, who played upbeat popish weezer-ish tunes.
And Madison Cunningham, a singer songwriter.
Thile played along with some of the songs and really added something.

    It was nerdvana for me.
    They did some Killer Covers:
They opened with 'No Surprises' by Radiohead ( OK Computer ) with Madison Cunningham on vocals.
'The Free Design' by Stereolab ( Cobra and Phases..)
'Good Times Bad Times' by Led Zeppelin ( I )
They closed with 'River of Orchids' by XTC ( Apple Venus Vol 1 )

I can't wait to see them again.

Nostalgia, you know, ain't what it used to be. Furthermore, they tells me, it never was.

Antifogmatic was a very good album. Also loved their bluegrass Brandenburg Concerto....
