Definitely will give this a listen. Monoliths was a great release but their colab with Boris, Alter is my favorite from them.

Not sure if anyone here saw the film "Sinister" but the film's climax actually used the song "Blood Swamp" from "Altar" as the score (the movie had lovely taste actually...excerpts from Ulver's "Silence" EPs were also used early on). Brilliant use of their dark drones...makes me wish more filmmakers would use their sound.

So the 0))) is silent?
It's a joint name and insignia, in that the 'O' serves as visual and physical illustration to the inherent depth of the band and their music. Which is pretty much hit and miss for me - as with Ulver's music I suppose. I have great respect for both acts, though. And I think the project in question should be interesting.

I have high hopes on this one but you're right....not everything is spectacular. As much as I adore Nurse with Wound, the Sunn0))) collab was surprisingly "meh" to me.
