    Rare Prog Metal Releases

Are there any Prog Metal albums you can think of that are well-regarded but are OOP and difficult to find? It occurred to me that some of my Prog Metal that I'm no longer wanting might be becoming easier to sell because some labels just can't keep them in print.

I don't ask just because I'm thinking of selling off parts of my prog metal collection (I'd probably not sell the rarer stuff, really). It's just that I pulled a few CDs out at random to listen to, and realized that some of them are on small labels that might be gone now, and maybe there aren't even that many copies out there. Payne's Gray's "Kadath Decoded" is one that comes to mind, not that I'd sell that. Strangely, I see that's for sale on Amazon from a third part vendor as a used CD-ROM for $39.99. WTF?

I just sold my Kadath Decoded last year. Can't recall how much I got on Ebay, but it was more than normal. What I usually do is open Ebay, Amazon and Discogs in separate windows and search all three simultaneously for titles to compare prices.

The first bands that come to mind are Symmetry, Poverty's No Crime, and Superior.

Our first four albums sometimes sells for more than 100 on ebay.
And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make.
