Most vinyl copies of the same music

Have you got an album (any genre) or a piece of music (classical etc.) that you are a bit manic about or obsessed with and thus have loads of different vinyl copies?

As regards classical, mine is Beethoven's Eroica Symphony (No.3 in E Flat Major , Opus 55)

I have 12 vinyl copies that I can find on my shelf right now, but there are probably a few more scattered around the house (I have 3 record players in 3 diferent rooms)

    Berliner Philharmoniker - Ferenc Fricsay - 1960
Philharmonia Orchestra, London - Otto Klemperer - 1961
Pittsburg Symphony Orchestra - William Steinberg - 1963
    Sudwestfunk Symphony Orchestra, Baden-Baden - Paul Kletzki - 1963
Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra - Pierre Monteux - 1963
London Philharmonic Orchestra - Sir Adrian Boult - 1974
    Munchner Philharmoniker - Rudolf Kempe - 1974
Orchester der Wiener Volksoper - Eduard Lindenberg - 1975
Berliner Sinfonie Orchester - Jascha Sternheim - ?
    Minneapolis Symphony - Antal Dorati - ?
Pro Musika Orchester Berlin - Karl Reuter - ?
    Sinfonieorchester Mailand - Ernesto Cantelli - ?

I have the same "condition" when it comes to two rock albums, but only two TG.

Pink Floyd - Relics (currently 8 different versions, of which 6 different covers & 6 different labels)
Genesis - Trick of the Tail (different nationalities and record labels - currently 5 different versions)

At one point I had 5 or 6 different recordings of Petrouchka, but that's about it.

The only album I have multiple copies of (3) is Klaatu's "3:47 EST" and thats only because I found the others at Thrift Stores in VG++ condition for less than $1

I had 4 copies of Magma live (Hhai) - 3 on LP (was afraid that I would wear it up, and it got OOP, sold one, and then bought it on CD 2 times (different productions/sound, one is japanese).
All together that was 5 copies.

zeuhlmate- me, too. I have Tomato, Utopia, Charlie and Seventh, and I have them as LPs, cassettes, and CD!

I also have several versions of all Beethoven symphonies as well as several of Mahler and Schubert.
I'm not lazy. I just work so fast I'm always done.

Bedsit? WTF is that? OK - looked it up. In the US we call it a prison cell. Besides, I would never subject my vinyl to multiple turntables.

I'm planning on getting 2 copies of various Who and Genesis albums:the original vinyl mix, and the remix on CD.

I have 37 copies of Frampton Comes Alive...!

    NOT...!

Two of my favorite albums that originally were NOT on CD I therefore felt the need for multiple copies of (figuring that the vinyl would wear out).

Industry Standard by The Dregs (a perfect album by the way)
Stand Up by the Steve Morse Band

Both have since appeared on CD in limited release and both were bought by me - but the multiple copies remain.

After all, CDs can get damaged, too...
