    Michael Schenker-best riff & solo?

Never get tired of hearing the sweet sounds coming from this Flying V axe slinger. What are some of your favorite Schenker riffs & solos?

Off the top of my head, his solos on Obsession' s "Pack It Up and Go" (UFO) to this day still send shivers, and riffs, well there's a ton of 'em, but UFO's "Rock Bottom" and MSG's "Feels Like a Good Thing" rate pretty high for me.

The live 'Rock Bottom' solo on Strangers is my fave by any guitarist !

From his solo career i'd have to say 'Lost Horizons'.

Agreed, the live version of "Rock Bottom" is just about as good as hard rock guitar gets.

Yeah, he's just ripping it up all over the place on Obsession-the pinnacle of his lead guitar work on a studio album in my opinion

    Amazing, indeed.

Not sure I'd rate his playing on it above the Lights Out album though. I love it, but I suppose an argument could be made that he overplays a little on Obsession. On Lights Out he has that perfect balance between his Leslie West inspired emotion and sizzling fretwork. I don't know ... both albums feature such amazing playing. I mentioned Obsession but as an album I'd have to take Lights Out.

He's my favorite, with Steve Howe a close second. He does very well with just using three fingers.

"Desert Song", for both riffs and solos.

Everything that has been mentioned, and I also really like Michael's favorite: "Try me".
