Now you're going to make me go all Henry on you.

Similar? Yes. "Looks just like"? I don't think so.

Ok, - damn, kind of weird timing on this box set - I guess it was Rhino's last chance to make a buck on the catalog.

LOL - thanks for going to the trouble!

Keys to Ascension cover + An Evening of Yes Music Plus cover = Yes - The Studio Albums 1969-1987 cover

I think Roger used the random Yes cover generator app again... "Let's see...stone arches in background <OK>. Floating rocks <OK>. Tree <OK>. Choose colors for logo <OK>. <SEND>"

Most of these are adapted from work he's had around for years anyway. FFH is the first new thing they've had in a while afaik. I didn't look at this set closely but isn't just a collage from existing covers?

Not completely true, Freddie old boy. The FFH cover was started by Dean in the '70s, but finished for use for the FFH cover to look like his recent stuff.

Ah, you're right! You know, I think I knew that... still though it is new in the sense it was completed for this project.

Well, he must have had the painting for years if it was started in the '70s.

Close to the Edge on Panegyric is currently available through US Amazon, direct from Burning Shed, or from other retailers. There's a lengthy thread about it elsewhere on PE.

Unless something has changed, the blu-ray version was only available from Burning Shed, i.e., from the UK. Which is where I ordered it from. I'm finding it to be better service and prices ordering from Burning Shed and Amazon.co.uk.

The production costs for this box set are minimal: they're just re-packaging existing releases. It's easy for Warner/Atlantic to put this out. It won't have to sell much to cover those costs.

Meanwhile, Panegyric appear to be going for biannual releases, so that could be 4+ years before you get the set (depending on what albums they eventually cover).

Both versions are listed on Amazon.com, but, yes, there are many reasons to order direct from Burning Shed, including that more money goes to them (ensuring future releases in the series) and the band! And, as you say, good customer service from Burning Shed.

guess he only does the remixing part
    not the remastering
    or?

(been so on all the other Wilson remixing projects as far as I know)

Are you thinking maybe of the Japanese SACD box set?

The price is starting to drop already on Amazon. Down to $64. And there is the added attraction of the mini sleeves, something I've been waiting for, but didn't want to buy the overly distorted Japanese versions.

I finally got my box set. I've listened to Tormato. Now, I'm listening to Drama. This remasters seem a little clearer than the '03/'04 ones. Or, maybe it's just my imagination? The discs keep sliding around. I dropped the Tormato label side up on the Drama case, but it seemed to play fine.

What i did with these is put the booklets from the jewel case editions into the papersleeves. Holds them in nicely. All the info points to these being replicas of the rhino 2003 remasters. But playing Relayer, there was something different about it. I put it down to imagination as well. Or could they have used the 2009 Japanese remasters? They would have had to for Big Generator as that is the only edition having the bonus tracks.

Many vendors on Amazon are now selling it for around $45 + $4 shipping.
