David Pritchard - Nocturnal Earthwom Stew

Any fans of this oddball Canadian electronic album? I scored a copy on wax recently and have been reacquainting myself with this fairly singular album. An easily reductive comparison would be Eno meets Harry Partch; early electronic synthesizer work paired with prepared acoustic instruments. A really neat album.

And a bit of trivia - a cameo by the pre-FM Nash the Slash and Martin Deller. Check here for a decent review

Had this since it was released. I was a big fan of Night Music back in the day. Led me to this and FM. It was one of the first things I ripped when I got a USB turntable. I don't think it ever made it to CD.

It did - there were two issues around 2004-05, but must have been small pressings, since it's not easy to track down.
