Hey, this is pretty darn good stuff, I must say. Whoever could imagine a flute and bagpipe could substitute so well for Ian Gillan's screeching vocal bombast? And, you got to like the lead vocalist when he sings the line "and you've not been hit by flying lee-ayd". Come on!

Just to point out, the Beatles' version was a cover too. That's a Motown song, written and sung by Barrett Strong (it was his first and biggest hit rekkid).

Tamla, techincally speaking, but yes, the Scouse rendition was indeed a cover.
Yeah, it counts as a cover, since Elvis was covering Carl Perkins here.
