    Beethoven's Ninth symphony;-) The famous line 'O Freunde nicht diese Töne' isn't sung before more than an hour instrumental symphonic music has been played. The choir members have to wait on stage all that time.:-)

    maybe a bit off the topic, but think Tribal Tech-Face First. Song #6 "Uh...yeah, OK". That's all about words in this song and the whole album thereof

    Well if you are going to count TB the vocals come in at 20:18 in part 1.

    I'm not sure, but I think Mike Oldfield's "Crises" takes a pretty long time for the vocals to kick in.
