As a taste of my upcoming review of Steve Hackett's tremendous Genesis Revisited show at the Casino du Lac Leamy last Saturday - a review that will include considerable audio interview footage from a pre-show interview that I expected to run 15 mins and went closer to an hour - here's a link to my facebook album with over 100 shots from the show.

    A few teasers:

Thank you. It was a tremendous concert. I was particularly taken by Nad Sylvan who was an unknown to me, he nailed it with some phrasing and high notes that I believe might be beyond the current reach of Gabriel. Great pictures!

Thanks for the kind words, Kenneth. If you are unfamiliar with Nad, you should check out Agents of Mercy, also with The Flower Kings' Roine Stolt. Great group! I reviewed The Black Forest in a multi-review piece covering new music from Neal Morse, Transatlantic, The Flower Kings and Agents of Mercy.

    Thanks for the tip, John.
I need to work on prog groups from the 90s and on. It is a blank in my knowledge which I have address. In Montreal next week to see Ian Anderson. I will see what is available at the main Archambault when I am there.

You'll likely have to order online, Ken....most of this stuff is not carried in regular record stores anymore....<sigh>
