If anyone's interested, I found a really good Cooking forum a while back: http://www.discusscooking.com/

There are a lot of cooking forums, but this one, while it looks really low-key, has a ton of activity and the posters seem pretty experienced, so a good place to ask questions. I also like the way everything's broken down into specific subject areas.

It's been going on since 1999. It just changes names every other day by a different poster.

Yes, that's true. They have loads of credibility. However, they don't sound Western enough to be taken seriously by the narrow-minded ones out there.

imdb is filled with trolls, but then again, that's typical of most forums.

Any decent science forums? I have questions about relativity, M theory, etc... Not looking for 10 year old information, but more recent. Like what's happening at FERMA or CERN.

Do you think when Binladen was in hiding, Al Jazeera knew where he was? I'm not sure, just wondering.

There's TV, video, etc. forum that I know Ken Golden has pointed me to a couple of times but I always forget what it's called - anyone know?

Do you? And, if so, why?

A friend was telling me recently about Neal Peart's Bubba's Bar 'n' Grill forum. I don't exactly get the purpose of that forum, because he didn't think Neal did any posting there. But it's all about food and cooking. Anyone spend any time there?

I was wondering if maybe they did - weren't the tapes Binladen made delivered to Al Jazeera? I'm not saying that necessarily means they knew, just that they might have. They also might not have, and also they might have but not wanted to compromise their source for the tapes. I never read any details about who delivered the tapes to Al Jazeera, so don't know if it was by an anonymous courier or what.
