I have been meaning to check this band out for a while, and this album sounds fantastic. Will be ordering soon!

This is one great friggin' album! Sorry I'm so late in posting but this a real masterwerk. I recently again revisited and it just keeps being a rewarding and satisfying listen. Thanks Dan and keep it up please!

Good, enjoyably quirky stuff. Although Dan sometimes descries it as "retro", it also has echoes of recent and not-so-recent alternaprog, such as Mr. Bungle, Cardiacs, Cheer-Accident, and the like. Some of the details are amazing, such as the set of subtle, yet remote key changes under a repeating melody in the fifth or sixth tune. A couple of the tunes - notably the third - keep threatening to turn into Raymond Scott's "Powerhouse", but never quite do. And even the "weak points", like those oddball buried-in-the-mix vocals, have their charms.
