    Rare Pink Floyd Photo

A friend of mine posted on Facebook this photo of Pink Floyd on the beach in the early seventies... There appears to be another band on the photo (unless they are roadies, or whatever). I'm interested in finding out who the other band was...
Here's the link (I don't know how to copy the photo).

Too bad the link doesn't work. Maybe you could ask your friend to repost the picture?

Why are Gilmour and the kid next to him the only ones who look unhappy?
The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off

Probably because they knew it would eventually end up on FaceBook some day.

The book came out around the same time that Ferrari put out a special limited edition model, they were only building like 50 or whatever of them, with each going for like a million pounds. And Nicky was one of the customers on the short list.

So when Top Gear wanted to do a review of this particular Ferrari, Nick brokered a deal with Jeremy Clarkson: Nick would let Jezza drive his new Ferrari, if they plugged the book on the show. Since they're typically not allowed to plug stuff on the show, Jezza said they'd have to do it subtly to get it under the wire. Cut to Jezza and Nick out on the track, Jezza asks what it was like to drive the car for the first time, and Nick replies, "Almost as good as it felt when I got the first copy of my new book, Inside Out: A Personal History Of Pink Floyd, off the printing presses", whilst holding up a copy. This then commenced a long sequence where every sentence out of Jezza's mouth was a Pink Floyd allusion.

Now I know why Roger was always so cranky: they evidently didn't feed him.
